Euro-Mediterranean Youth Parliament

Euro-Mediterranean Youth Parliament
Date: 26.05. - 03.06.2007
Venue: Berlin
Policy area: Education, Youth and Culture
Type of event: Conferences and Expert Meetings
More:

Diversity, dialogue, solidarity: overcoming prejudices, building bridges and providing a platform for young people's visions for the future of Europe - these are our aims. Some 102 young people from the 27 EU Member States, as well as from their Mediterranean partners in the Barcelona Process, gathered in Berlin from 26 May to 3 June 2007 to discuss topical social issues. Just like in a "real" parliament, solutions were elaborated in working groups and then formulated as resolutions. In his capacity as host, Minister of State Günter Gloser officially opened the plenary session of the Euro-Med Youth Parliament on 1 June 2007.
