The actual implementation of EU policy usually takes place on the ground, that is to say in the regions, towns and local communities, with the involvement of the citizens. Policy here may be formed, communicated, applied or modified. Open dialogue with the people on the ground is a precondition for sound interregional and international policy. This dialogue should ideally take place within the context of various events, in educational institutions, political parties, associations and clubs. The organizers of such events often require support, in the form of say, say, logistical assistance, information or logo design. The "Für mein Projekt" (lit. "for my project") package is intended to fulfil these requirements, providing a toolbox for discussion fora in individual German towns (in German).
