The German Presidency will be the occasion for many official meetings on major topics. The results of these meetings will be accessible via the internet, on the Presidency website. But European policy is much more, and Europe should be experienced and discussed. The Federal Government is planning an extensive information campaign to run alongside the German Presidency and celebrations for the fiftieth anniversary of the Treaty of Rome. Together with partners from "Aktion Europa", many additional activities will take place. "Europe week for the German Länder" at the beginning of May 2007 alone will be the occasion for over 1000 Europe-related events in Germany (in German).
