Invitation to the Conference on the European Charter for Small Enterprises in Berlin on 4/5 June 2007

The Fourth Conference on the Implementation of the European Charter for Small Enterprises will be hosted in Berlin on 4/5 June 2007 by the German EU Presidency and the European Commission. The Conference opens its doors on

 

4 June 2007 at 9 am
at the Conference Center of Hotel Schweizerhof
(Budapester Strasse 25 in 10787 Berlin).

You are cordially invited to attend. The entire event will be open to the press.

Media representatives are asked to register online for accreditation on the website by 2 pm on 30 May 2007. Their registration will then be confirmed by email. Permanent registration with the Press and Information Office of the Federal Government or at www.eu2007.de will not suffice since a special badge must be issued for access to the event.

Representing the European Commission and the German EU Presidency, Hartmut Schauerte, who is the German Government's Commissioner for SME Policy and State Secretary in the German Ministry of Economics and Technology, will hold a press conference scheduled to begin at approx. 10:30 am on 4 June 2007.

Press badges will be distributed at the press counter in Hotel Schweizerhof on 4 June 2007.

Access to the event will only be possible after prior accreditation. On-site accreditation, which will only be possible by way of exception and cannot be guaranteed, will require the presentation of a valid official photo ID and valid press card; a lengthy wait should be anticipated.

Please have your valid press card ready for display at the entrance.
