Meeting of the Middle East Quartet in Berlin

Next Wednesday (30 May) the Middle East Quartet, consisting of the United Nations, the European Union, the United States of America and the Russian Federation, will reconvene in Berlin to discuss the situation in the Middle East. Participating in the meeting will be UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei V. Lavrov, US Secretary of State Dr Condoleezza Rice, EU Council President and German Foreign Minister Dr Frank- Walter Steinmeier, EU High Representative for the CFSP Dr Javier Solana, and EU External Relations Commissioner Dr Benita Ferrero-Waldner.
