The informal meeting of Ministers for Equal Opportunities and Family Affairs on 15 and 16 May 2007 in Bad Pyrmont will focus on the issue of equal opportunities for men and women in employment and in the family. The ministers will be discussing topics such as 'Changing role models - new challenges for men' 'Strategic alliances with the business community ', 'Women and active fathers in management positions' and 'Supporting migrant women and children - participation in society and on the labour market' .

There will be a photo call after the press conference for a group photo of all ministers. The evening reception hosted by Lower Saxony's Minister-President Christian Wulff provides an opportunity for atmospheric impressions or TV split screen shots. The delegates will be arriving at the reception on the Steigenberger Hotel's outdoor patio at 7.30 p.m.. There will be a performance by the Parforcehorncorps hunting horn band and the Niedersachsenmeute (a traditional equestrian troupe) at around 7.45 p.m.
