Federal Government Spokesman Ulrich Wilhelm issues the following statement:
The President of the European Council, Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel, will travel to Prague on Friday 26 January 2007 to meet with Minister President Mirek Topolanek and President Václav Klaus.
Talks will revolve around European political issues in the framework of the German EU Presidency.
