Federal Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier will meet on Thursday (11 January) with the Presidency of the EPP Group of the European Parliament.
The meeting is to allow for an exchange of ideas at the beginning of the German EU Council Presidency, and will focus on the priorities of the German Presidency programme. These include the future of the Constitutional Treaty and the topics of energy and enlargement.
The group will also meet with the Federal Chancellor during its visit to Berlin.
