Federal Government Spokesman Ulrich Wilhelm issues the following statement:
Chancellor Angela Merkel will receive Mexican President Felipe Calderón for a conversation in the Federal Chancellery on Thursday, 25 January 2007, at 7:30 pm.
Bilateral relations, the programme of German EU Presidency and current developments in Latin America will be addressed during the conversation and subsequent dinner.
President Calderón’s visit to Germany is on invitation by Federal President Köhler.
