Invitation to the Press Conference - "Closing the Gap" Tackling Health Inequalities in Europe

Within the scope of the EU Council Presidency, the national closing conference on the project "Closing the Gap" which had been sponsored by the European Commission, will take place on 13 February 2007. As a representative of Germany, the Federal Centre for Health Education(BZgA) has been coordinating this European Union project between 21 European states for a period of three years.

At the concluding conference the Strategies for Action "To Tackle Health Inequalities in Europe" shall be presented and the contents of the new Database of Good Practices including 90 projects from all European countries participating shall be introduced. At the beginning of this event, there will be a press conference to which we would like to invite you cordially.
