Minister of State for Culture Bernd Neumann has invited the Ministers for Culture and the Media of the EU Member States to an Informal Council Meeting in Berlin on Monday, 12 February and Tuesday, 13 February 2007.
Key items on the agenda will be the modernisation of the EU Television Directive on the first day and the promotion of culture sector on the second day. In addition, the ministers will take part in the award ceremony for the European Shooting Stars at the Berlin International Film Festival Berlinale.
In order to enter press events, either an EU Presidency accreditation pass or the annual accreditation of the Press and Information Office are required.
