On 8 February 2007, the Troika of the European Union will meet with Pakistan in the Federal Foreign Office.
The talks will focus on intensifying relations between the EU and Pakistan as well as on regional issues.
The EU delegation will be headed by Federal Foreign Minister Dr Frank-Walter Steinmeier, with Foreign Minister Mian Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri fulfilling the role for the Pakistan delegation.
Portugal, the next Member State to take on the EU Presidency, will be represented by State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Professor João Gomes Cravinho.
